Mods, feel free to move this if this is the wrong place, but I joined this awesome place to find others like myself. I just completed and published my first iBook. Much of the world I build in ArcMap and used satellite imaging techniques to create topography and the biosphere. I even mapped the seafloor, but I haven't found a use for it just yet. My dream is to get an army of mappers to map my entire planet, but that is going to take time and coin, but book II is already underway. But here is the video:
