    Post Hello Worlds

    Hi there,

Kim, from Sydney. I've been drawing maps on and off since the early 90's (100% amateur in my drawings, btw). Just love maps and the world of potential they offer. Middle Earth, Krynn, Four Lands (Shannara), Allansia, The Old World of Warhammer... these are the lands that inspired me to put pencil to paper and have a go at creating my own worlds.

Looking forward to being here for the long term

Nice to see someone else who's inspired by Allansia, it's not too often I find another fighting fantasy fan out in the wild!

Yes! I devoured Fighting Fantasy bks in my youth (Armies of Death, Deathtrap Dungeon, City of Thieves were top 3) and was enamoured with the world setting. Pourrrred over the maps

Glad to hear there be FF fans, here.

    Also, thanks AlfansosRevenge!

Very welcome Kimacus and I kind of wanted to jump on board the FF bandwagon here

I still have my books including Titan and Allansia! Blacksand is my favourite and the city map there may have been part of my own inspiration for getting into drawing maps. Also, City of Thieves was among my favourites, too! And the Sorcery books illustrated by John Blanche

Glad to be part of this contingent on CG

Oh wow, that's awesome! I would love to go back over them and sniff the nostalgia. I never owned Titan et al - I was fortunate to have a local library that acquired an up-to-date collection of FF books. Allansia and Blacksand also propelled me into the world of role-playing games. It was an age of discovery that I look back on very fondly. I may even blog about it...

Glad to hear there be more comrades aboard the FF Wagon (who's driving??)
