Hey, I'm Harrylechienfou, you can call me Harry I guess.
I'm here because I want to learn how to become a better cartographer, in order to give my fantasy world an extra realistic touch (I'm currently working on a fantasy saga that I really want to write).
I hope you guys will understand my... exotic english, because I'm french.
A part from that, my passions are cinema (I began to work as a scriptwritter this year after four years of studying), books (obviously), and also football (sorry, I mean socce haha).

And there are a lot of French members here. The French seem to have a disproportionately large representation. It must be because art and maps are in the blood... or something

How interesting - a huge number of artists, novelists and writers here, but I don't recall anyone saying they were a scriptwriter before now.

Yet another French, I see. Like Mouse said, there is a rather large chunk of your fellow countrymen. Never fear, many of us are not native English speakers. And Mouse is right, your English sounds perfectly fine to me. Of course, spoken by yet another non-native, so I don't know how good a judge I am...

Thanks guys ! Such a nice welcome. I can see that the forum is pretty active and full of members. I'm glad if my english is not awfull, I understand it pretty well but I rarely have the chance to write in english. I have to say it's the first tyme I register on a non-french-speaking forum, that's why I was a bit worried.

I didn't realised that a lot of french (and non american in general) registered on american or english forums like this. Cool.
