This is a great map John!
I love the work you have done on rendering the topography and the frame.

Great map! Love the subtle colors
And the lettering of the title is superb!

I'm still new to the guild so i'm not sure if my opinion is worth much, but I think it's a fantastic map!

Others have already said it, but I'll throw my voice into this too: a beautiful map, John. It looks like something you'd expect to find in a book of fairytales and fables.

It's a marvel, J. Or another one. I love absolutely everything, from the colors to the details, from the laughting sea serpent, to the graphic trees. And this stunning border, of course !
    Thank you Beee
Hehe, i still really like what I achieved with Sleepy Dragon.
It's much more lovable than this one. ;P

I've gotten alot more comfortable with this style/technique.
I have been using it a lot with work that I'm not able to show yet.

The color is sort of a cross between trying to mimic watercolor and the old styles I used to see with fairytale maps.

I'm getting better with that the more I do it.

That's what I want. So is good to know it's hitting the mark.

Are we gonna get to see all of these maps and illustrations put together one day? I'd love to see a picture that connects all these fantastic places...

You might have gone a bit over the top with the leaves but they're beautiful ! As is the whole map, of course, even if in your case, beautiful always seems not enough.
