Well, simply put, I came here because I needed a tutorial for making my DnD map in Gimp (and a big thank you to RobA for that) and plan to stay because I'm enough of an artist to know I can contribute a little in my own right. I used to sell worlds once, always hand-drawn, and hope to get good enough with Gimp to be able to do commissions again. I think I'll wait until I can finish a map in less than 2 weeks first, though.

Thank you omri... I'll probably stick to username though. bit of a gamer and other names get confusing unless I'm extremely active in outside interactions (i.e. Facebook, RL, and VoiP). I'm a small bit frustrated about no responce to my other two posts, one of which is fairly important, but I'm still learning a lot from the site regardless. TY for the welcome!
