The different features are quite simple (and those cristal shard-mountains are awesome) but give for a pretty complex looking map. Good job here !

Pretty nice introduction map, I like it a lot. As others have already said, your map's features have a very unique look to them, and that is awesome. The mountains in particular look great.

The only thing I would critique here is the size/resolution of the map - at the moment, I feel they are a bit larger than they really need to be. Zoomed in at 100%, I get a little too close to the thing for my taste, and I think you could drop the resolution at least 1/3 and still be able to see all the details perfectly well. This is just me, though.

What a fantastic map for a first try ! This style looks unique and really promising : I can't wait to see your next map.
I think you have a small edit to do for labels in the sea : the inner part of the labels (A, O, B...) has the land color instead of the sea color
