I'll have to second Beee on the quality of the colors the Copic markers seem to bring into the work. I personally love these brighter, more popping colors - not that I have anything against your normal color choices either, but I do love some stronger darker hues every now and then. Great work as usual, J.

I just don't know how you can possibly get this kind of results with traditional media (magic?).
And as Thomas said, keep them coming!

    Thanks Kell
It's funny, because my older, natural inclination was toward stronger colors.
Haerlech is a good example of that.
I just sort of transitioned into a more watercolor look/feel over time.
I enjoy both now, but I am starting to lean back into some stronger colors with some of my current commissioned work [stuff I haven't shown yet].

That said, I am getting a bit more comfortable with traditional color.

Two lovely maps. I particularly like the village one. It's very well done.

I'd love to see a failing challenge

Hehe, well, I will consider that. The main fails have been with watercolor.
And partly because it was not well planned or structured.
