Lovely work as always Misty :3
Hey Guild !
Just realised I totally forgot to post a "Finished map" tread for my Istia map draw for August 2018 challenge, so here I am !
Usual information :
- 21x8 inches,
- Hand made in Photoshop CC2018 using a Wacom Cintiq pro 16,
- WIP thread is here, where you can read more about the story and, obviously, the process too !
The map is showing the geographic and political evolution of Istia, which was first a part of the continent and slowly became an island due to a series of cataclysms.
I experimented here a new style of maps, which was pretty fun to do I must say ^^

And in case some of you would be interested, I added this map (and a few others too) on my new and shiny Inprnt gallery
Hope you'll enjoy ! ^^
Lovely work as always Misty :3
This is beautiful! I love the subtleness of the contouring, and the colors are gorgeous.
Gidde's just zis girl, you know?

Ah yes, glad to see this one finally getting a Finished Maps thread! Great job as usual, Beee, I love seeing the evolution of the coastline.
I really like this map, and though it is quite different from your other maps it still bears your special flavour!
Loved this one. So many little details to enjoy, and the rising seas theme is very topical!

Thank you ! ^^
Thanks Gidde ! I tried new colors here : they're not exactly what I planned, but I love to let the map decides when it's for a personal work ^^
Thanks Kell ! ^_^
Thank you MMM ! It's good to experiment new styles sometimes, and it's one of the reasons why challenges are so great ^^
Thanks ChickPea ! Tropical, that's fun to imagine ^^
Thanks a lot, Ilanthar ! It's always fun when you can mix geography and History, isn't it ? ^^
Wonderful idea and gorgeous map !
My biggest thank you, Thomas ! I was thinking about this map this morning, telling to myself I would really need to work on a new personal project. Maybe I'll sacrifice a couple of hours on my rest time for this
