However, I realized there's one point neither of us made clear here. This attempt at scientific accuracy will inform everything you do "just fudging it" from here out, making it all more plausible/photorealistic. So even if you decide to recover from the addiction, your work and learning won't be wasted. Even though I pretty much run screaming from tectonics now, I am *glad* I went down that rabbit hole for a while.
