I do like to approve new members posts with nice maps attached ! This one is really well done. The lettering is especially nice - I should read your WIP thread but it looks like inkscape or similar app used with this. Very well done.
I created this map for an upcoming RPG campaign I'll be GMing using the the Genesys system. Basically we're going to be running a steampunk airship pirate campaign in a colonial-era based world. Obviously the region the game takes place in is heavily inspired by maps of the Carribean during the time period. https://www.seaheritage.com/product-page/caribbean-17xx
I didn't put as much focus on the rivers and interior cities of the continent's coastline as the majority of the campaign will be taking place in various ports across the islands.
The Wurnish colonies are basically the Spanish in this time period, but with a German flavor slapped on (German accents are way more fun and easier for me to do), and Alagos is basically Great Britain. The colonies of Falreaux have such straight edges due to the fact that the Falreaux monarchy has been forced to start selling land away (treasury issues) as they have are sinking more money into their colonies than is coming out of them.
The grey territories of the map are controlled by my interpretation of the Dutch East India Company, the Jatanian Grey Syndicate.
The principle conflict in the background will be the ongoing cold war between Alagos and Wurnerland, as well as their attempts to take control of Falreaux. The king of Falreaux has recently died with no heir, and the royal family has been very prolific in their marriages with Alagos and Wurnerland.

Great first map! Good landshapes and I love how you marked the different countries/territories. It has a nice antique feel. I think it could maybe benefit from a little color difference between land and sea (maybe make the sea just a little bit darker), but it's not a major issue.
