I really like the general feel about it and I especially love how you render the topography.
Thanks a lot for your kind words... For the topography I just took what I know best : swiss topography maps... Same colors for altitude lines, forest, etc... Same symbols for roads... and the rest was thought to be drawn quickly

This is a very attractive map. I love the hill shading. Reminds me a little of Snodsy's work (which is high praise!) It's a very 'clean' style, yet it also has an organic feel too, which is tricky to pull off. Great work, Jo.

Thanks a lot, ChickPea ! I'm honored to be compared to Snodsy (high praise, indeed !)

I'm still working a bit around this map...

I'll try to make drawings of the temples that are on top of the hills...

    Here's the first one :

Lovely map and very nice drawing but it looks crazily out of proportion to the surrounding buildings. The doors are more than twice the height of those 2-3 storey cottages!

Thanks a lot ChickPea ! I wonder if I could find a way to make them appear more "lightfull"...

Thanks for your comment, Robulous ! That's right : this building is insanely big ! After all, it's the sacred center of the most popular religion in this world... it's kind of the cathedral of the cathedrals... I paid attention to the size of the doors looking at those huge doors on gothic cathedrals like "Notre-Dame" or even here in Geneva... Regarding the size, I was going for "insanely big"... In a way, I'm glad you caught that... but maybe I didn't draw enough little details to make this big size understandable on the first glance ?

PS : you might brace yourself for the next one... The magisterium, center of all kind of magic for this part of the world...It might be even bigger...

I finally take some time to praise your wonderful work on this one. Not only is the elevation masterfully executed but the idea of using that classic legal (administratif en français) style which clashes a bit (but in a good way) with the elevation is pure genius. Tu passes ton temps à améliorer un style déjà génial, bravo Joël !
