Trying my hand at a park style map; Sasquatch National Park is loosely modeled after a map of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument outside Florissant, Colorado.....

I'd say you nailed that style. I enjoy the neat look of it, even if the colors are a little too muted for my taste (but that does tend to be the case with the kind of maps this is based on).
