Glad it worked! I wasn't sure about it, just a lucky hunch.By MistyBeee
Oh, oh ! Thanks a lot, Ilanthar ! It's edited !
Oh yeah, so excited for to this!
Is there anything like a "Best Project" category?
I'm thinking about bigger projects / collections, like Nate's atlas of Elyden, which are amazing as a whole, but maybe the single maps fly a bit under the radar because they are part of a bigger entity.
Onez: I like that idea, but I'm not sure how we'd implement it. Nate is really a one of a kind dedicated individual. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head that's even in the same league as far as volume of work in the same project/setting is concerned. And he's always adding to it, so how would it work as a yearly nomination type thing?
I agree that there should be some kind of special recognition for people that are that brilliant and dedicated, but I think us CLs would need to discuss first if it would fall under the aegis of an existing award, like a Cartographers Choice or Honorable Contributor, etc.
How about best tutorial ?
After all where would we all be without one?
It's not a bad idea, but the truth is that we don't get many new tutorials these days. Probably a handful a year. Older tutorials wouldn't be eligible because they weren't created in 2018. We need each award to be open to a fairly wide range of artists, and I think this category is too narrow as it stands.
We'll certainly consider suggestions for next year but we're sorted for this year's categories, and I think Diamond will be opening the nominations threads later tonight, all going to plan. I hope you've got your nominations ready!
Good luck everyone.

I am going to start creating the nomination threads now; please note that they will be LOCKED until I finish posting all of them. Then I will open them, and you can post away.
PLEASE read the instructions carefully (they're the same for all nomination threads ).
Nominations for the 2019 Atlas Awards are now open, so have at it! Please read the first paragraph in each thread - it states what maps are appropriate for that category. Also read the nominating rules (in hard-to-miss green).
Please save all conversation for this thread, NOT the nomination threads.
We are on, people! Good luck, folks, may the best maps win!
