Default February 2019 Challenge: Soel's Garrison

    Hello!

Eh, this is Ren, yup, still me.
Trying to practise more on cartography and have the chance to grow up in this marvelous world made of art, friends and long days of carpal tunnel pain, lol.

My partner for the challenfe is Onirian!

I think he did overstimated my abilities, hihi, but i'm trying to take the challenfe at my best.
I will be really slow in this task, as I'm actually still suffering for my wrist/thumb issue, but I promised myself to leave no excuses, so, HERE WE are.

Onirian Leaved me the option to create a JAIL or a whole Garrison with this jail.
This is the ACCURATE (thank you) super kawaii ascii map he gave me:
    Jail sketch.jpg

So this is the first restriction:

+ The Jail should have the same layout from the Ascii map.

    Following:
+ The main light for the prisonner is comming from the main door (additional source of light are based on my interpretation)
+ This garrison itself is in a rock desert where very few vegetable can grow
+ this garrison is located near a frontier (which is a cliff with lot of magical symbol for forbid any people to pass threw)

After than this everything else is optional (let me know Onirian if i got it wrong!)
+ the idea is to draw, as your convenience the garrison (or just the jail if you prefer)
    + Vegetation
    + Extra Buildings

At this point I haven't decided yet which road to follow, but i think i'll start from the jail and follow the flow to create the whole enviroment.
I'm not good to plan in advance, if it wasn't clear enough. lol.

    Thank you!

Great challenge. What's the D, S and J's stand for?
Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

I feel your pain, Ren. I have carpal tunnel as well, in both of my wrists.
Like a thief in the night
    she comes with no form
    yet tranquility proceeds
    the accursed storm...

D : Desktop (as the prison boss is a bad guy, he sometimes forces his prisonners to wrok for him).
S : Sleeping room (for soldiers)
    J : Jail / prison

    Finaly the first stage !
It's not what I had in mind but it's cool to be surprised (and as far as my own map is going, there is a real possibility that is end by a "off-topic". So... I can't tell anything ^^)

And as I struggle myself with my cliff, I'm waiting to see how you will manage yours !
