This probably wasn't the best month for you, with everything else you've got going on, but you've produced some lovely stuff so far, and the whole exercise will probably boost your mapping skills greatly in the long term. At least... just keep telling yourself that!!

Well, that's a pretty ambitious challenge... I hardly find time for the usual guild challenge, so I pull my hat to you for just give it a try .

I had to chime in on the forest thing.

Yes, doing forests can be VERY daunting. Like Mouse, I use cc3+, where I'm using symbols instead of drawing by hand, but even that can get tedious if you have a large forest. I can either place the individual copse tree symbols, which can create some interesting results (but where my trees are spread out), or I can use a forest drawing tool, which squishes them all together like they should be, but then I end up with grid lines in my forest. That's just the way the tool works. Which is why my forests are usually spaced out the way they are, because I'm placing each individual symbol... talk about time consuming! Which is why I never make really big forests!
