Synthwave/Retrowave World Map

I love Synthwave.
I love the music and also the aesthetics and visuals that comes from this universe.
Being also a Muse fan, I was thrilled when I discovered their new album will feature both.

I decided to create a (real) World map with this peculiar universe, with elements taken from the 80ies but mixed into something more actual.
It was really hard to have all key visual elements of Synthwave/Retrowave (flashy colours, darkness, fake polygons or grid (to mimic old video-games), weird typical fonts etc. ) into something harmonious and readable.
It took me a couple of months to do it and made two versions of it.
On this one, I added Muse's World Tour dates (the tour began a couple of weeks ago).

I LOVE synthwave (I'm listening to The Midnight as I type this) and you have absolutely nailed the aesthetic with this piece! I'm not familiar with Muse however, and look forward to checking them out. Very well done.
