The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

The choice of the font is always a tough one, especially when you have to balance legibility and style. Here I wanted to convey what I got from the culture from the names of the cities and countries and proposed this font to the client that instantly loved it so I went ahead. Trajan is nice but a bit too classic for my taste and Unzialish is one of my go to font but it didn't work with this map for me. Would you be so kind as to tell me where you find the text hard to read ? Anyways, thanks for the suggestions.
My only regret is not adding lava (gotta study Beees lighting techniques and steal what I can for the ones in color).
But at first I've had a problem with Chyrac, Schakur, Greeche. H and N in this font are very similar. Anyway it is very stylish.
