Thanks for getting the challenge started Storm!
Off to a good start, & looking forward to see where you hide the secret!
Oh, I hope I'm not going to be the only one entering this challenge! Apparently I'm the first, though!
So I've been working diligently on my Goddess of Light campaign for 5th ed. D&D. I'm hoping to start it this summer, right after my youngest graduates from highschool (I can't believe he's graduating!!! They grow up so fast!).
It just so happens that this challenge fits well with one of the maps I need to make anyway, so why not kill two birds with one stone!
This is a long forgotten temple nesting deep in the Caendel Mountains of Pilnderstraad. This temple was once maintained by the Monks of the Order of Morning in Glory, but the monestary, and the order have been lost to the ravages of time. Bare rumors whisper of remnants of this long forgotten Order, the traditions passed secretly from father to son, and from mother to daughter. Only they, if they still exist, remember the name of the long forgotten Goddess that was worshiped in this temple. All others know her simply as the Sleeping Goddess... that is, if they know her at all. Still, this temple remains vigilant, waiting for the Sleeping Goddess to awaken...

Actually, you are already seeing part of the secret . I just realized, after I posted this, that I did it backwards, sort of. It will be fixed by my next posting.

I've continued working on this temple. Right now I'm working to complete the temple proper, before I delve more into it's secrets

I'm still working on this, hoping I'm not going to be the only entrant into this challenge. So I've pretty much finished the temple, although I may continue to tweak it here and there... and I've started working on the secrets portion of this map. I'm still not sure which secrets I intend to reveal with this map... I know of the main one... but how much detail should I go into? I will be figuring that out as I continue to work on this map.
