Another update on this - ship-loads of labelling to do, as well as a bit more to connect the callouts with the actual locations - not too sure how this will work out at this stage, but we will see.

Didn't read everything, but I did notice that the 10 June 1718 box has a missing letter typo "Revnge".
This is such a great presentation. I like the callouts a lot and you did an amazing job with all of those coastlines.

... and yes, I have just noticed that 1717 is missing a "7" from the title!
Oh yes, even better. Except that with the drop shadow on the callouts it looks really weird that they are beneath the trails. Like now the trails are climbing over the floating text.
