Oh, oh ! That's really great, Aaron ! Great drawing, amazing details.
Do you have any plans to color it ?
Here is a map I did for Todd Leback for his HexCrawl patreon. I drew the map in A3 and have resized it for the screen here. The brief was very clear but also very open. The part of the brief that excited me the most was he wanted it to have an Arabian/East African feel. It was a joy to draw a different type of flora and architecture.
This is also one of the first times I created a border and I think it really helps polish the design. My compass rose is a simple S for south.

Reminds me a bit of Dain's perspective maps which is high praise. Great job !
Yowza this is fantastic! Such small details packed in a little space. Astonishing work, I would love love love to see it colored!
Haha I was also going to say Yowzah, but it's been done Really great map.
I really enjoy this map -- especially the African touches (i"t feels Timbuktuesque").

Thanks for the positive feedback.
Dain's work is great! Her (or his?) work is one of the styles I was trying to learn from when I first doing isometric maps a few years ago.
As for color... I have found that I want to specialize in black and white. I love ink and I love paper. I spent most of my career using Photoshop so now am trying to spend less art time on the computer. That and I just love old school art!
Impressive as hell, that's really all I can say. I always admire people who can do traditional, and this well!
