Btw. Any resemblance to Tenationus D is purely coincidental

Can I ask about your workflow for the shingles on your roofs? Do you draw each one by hand or do you have an automated process that you use? I've admired them on your maps for a while and I've always been curious.

Short answer: Draw everything by hand.

Long answer: There is some copy-paste within the same roof, if it's big. I only do this kind of tiling for a map with very few roofs, because it's tiresome. I would love to automatized this proccess somehow, but I am not so skilled with making new brushes. I always need different size, angle etc. tiles for every map. Those kind of brushes seems too complicated to make, at least to me. There are also patterns, but those too loose quality when i rotate and scale them and so i always come back to just draw everything by hand
