May/June '19 Lite Challenge: On the Verge of Destruction

Very interesting concept, reminds me of the movie Deep Impact.

As I am also having problems with my computer,I decided to take this opportunity to make a hand drawn map. I couldn't finish my last entry to the challenge ( a map with a full moon), but this time I think I will be able to deliver at least an inked line version of it.

well, my laptop issues ended up not being laptop issues, but external hard drive issues. Bottom line - my original external hard drive quit working, and everything I had stored on it is now lost, meaning that I'm having to start most of my projects over from scratch.

But it means I was able to work on this challenge...and maybe the fresh start will give me fresh perspectives and will make for better mapping, and everything else.

I actually do have an idea for this that I did start rough sketching out but just realised today I can't enter with the compass restrictions anyway

A shame there's not been too many entries so far but most entries for contests seem to come in last week or so anyway so hopefully we'll get more \o/

Just wondering, which time zone is the deadline in?

I am on the East Coast of the US, Daylight Savings time. As I write this it is 9:30 am here. I usually close the challenge and start the voting between midnight and 1 am (sometimes a little latter) so about 15 hours from now.
