Good call Bedwyr

1) The stained glass light should be cropped around the spiral staircase and balcony. That way the light only falls on the floor (as it's supposed to) and you get a better sense of depth from the balcony.

2) Maybe just a little drop shadow around the spiral staircases?

3) Extend the shadows slightly from the pillars furthest away from the light.

I tried to do what you suggested...

Only one small error left. The top two stairs on the left spiral staircases still have some stain glass on them. If I understand right, they're the topmost so you wouldn't see the light reflection on them.
