    Default Malazan: Seven Cities Reboot

    Hi All,

I decided to update my original Seven Cities map with something that is similar to the recent map I made for the Genabackis continent.

I still need to figure out what to do below the Jhag Odhan. Not sure how much of the mountains to do. That Olphara Forest took a long time, almost 15 subway rides.

I will start to shade and add colors. Let me know what you think.

Thumbs up, Joshua! I will certainly be along for the ride again. The last map was awesome and 7 Cities is more or less my favorite part of the Malazan world...so I'm thrilled you'll update this map.

It looks really nice already. A clean and crisp b/w style.

Thanks Eilathen! This one should be quicker as I'm trying to replicate the style I did for the Genabackis map. I also think Seven Cities is my favorite. Getting through shading all those trees in the Olphara Forest is going to take longer than expected I imagine.

Thanks! The islands are definitely better this time, rather than earlier this year. I was pretty happy with the island on Karokitch.

I'm getting pretty close to finishing this map. I want to polish up the mountains and add some more geographic detail. The south west part of the map needs some definition. I left the graphics on this map more minimal.

Let me know if there is any feedback. Thanks in advance!

Pretty cool, Joshua! I like how this is shaping up!
One of these days I need to do a reread of the MBotF...such an impressive work. And these maps will come in very handy when i do!

A while ago I looked at the Quon Tali map again and I was thinking "You know what would be cool? If Joshua did this one next...!"

Thanks Eilathen! I'm actually trying to read Return of the Crimson Guard. It's taking me a while for some reason. I was considering Lether or maybe a city such as Darujhistan. But, I'm not sure. Quon Tali probably has the coolest shapes. And doing the Falari Isles would be cool. We will see!
