I did a little bit more.

I know, I was worried it looked like I was just copying

It's great to see a sci-fi map, it's a nice change from the fantasy medieval stuff.

    Keep up the good work
Thanks and I'm quickly discovering I'm not very good at sci-fi, very unused to it at least.

Doing sci-fi is weird when you're not used to it, totally different aestetic. I like your result though.

I like it! Kind of a sci-fi-comic-book aesthetic.

(I'll admit I liked the angled lines a little better, but the straight lines still look good ).

Progress! The white background was looking a little unfinished next to the other thumbnails. I already knew I wanted a blueprint effect somehow, so this is what I ended up with. Still a light background, not detracting much from the focus.

To add texture or to not add texture? Plus it needs some extra details to add some personality to the interior. That's so easy when drawing freehand though, drawing with the pen tool halts this a lot for me. I find it so easy sketching little details and storytelling with the brush tool.

Thank you, it is so weird, I really didn't expect it.

Whoops, maybe I should have persisted with the original shape, a couple of people mentioned that. Ahh well

I think I'll leave this as it is now. I like the finish for my first attempt at something sci-fi.

Simple but very effective, I really like how this came out!

I would'nt have expected such an interesting result. I like what you've done there with these light effects and the lines in the background. Especially the lights and shadows give it suddenly such depth and make it much more feel like an inside room. Cool!

I like the result, lights, colors and background rounding it up nicely!

Thank you all for the positive comments I've swung back and forward between liking this and not, sci-fi is out of the comfort zone.

It looks like it could be very useful for the right game, and you nailed the genre sense.
