Cool little maps!
Thanks Yrda
It's a bit more challenging to alter these as they are traditionally done, but I'm giving it a go.
I forgot to scan this one at the pencil stage, which is the best for making changes in ps, as I have a decent pencil brush that's passable.
That said, the process seems to be working ok so far.
Several people said light house, so maybe it will have that at the top.
Thanks Voolf
I just started the 3 versions.
I had done just day and night previously.
I will try more and see what works.
Thanks Bogie
Thanks Arimel
I have spent a lot of time looking at cool coastal pics online and tired to convey the look of coastal areas that I've seen.
Go for it. I think the patron sizes are larger and maybe large enough for framing.
I can do inprnt, but as I never really sell on inprnt, i just sort of don't put much up there.
There is definitely a children's book feel, or maybe sort of fairytale feel to a lot of what I've been doing for the last few years.
I've definitely been in that headspace for a while.
Thanks Robin
Yeah, I like the idea of a big journey for the little ones too.
Thanks QED

These are great! I love coloration, and love the different times of day and weather options!

Well aren't these just beautifully delightful! I kinda want a D&D adventure fighting Beholders and Gelatinous Cubes, but in this wonderfully E. H. Shepard meets Beatrix Potter style. Superb!
Thanks Salmon
Perhaps the water is a bit much on that one.
You just worry that such a simple scene will feel boring without some flair.
Thanks KM
I had always figured people would use them when they had less time for a larger event.
Or, maybe just a bunch of small encounters.
Or, say you have a party walking to a larger final destination, and you want to drop in a random encounter along the way.
Like attacked by gophers. Or while fishing you encounter the kraken of the lake. ;P
Hehe, that could be a humorous adventure.
Especially if someone rendered the monsters in that same style.

Great little work you got there! I find them to be really evocative.
I specially like the quiet day ones. My favourite one is the one with the solitary boat. Makes me think start wondering where the fishers went.
I don't see the eathereffects fitting there, though, but gess is just some personal likes.
