    Thanks Bogie and Mateus!

After a furious evening yesterday finishing the coloring, I'm really liking how this came out - especially the mountains. I think I might like to take a picture under better lighting, but here's what I've got today....

I used watercolor pencils, and so one other thing I can do is get a wet brush and paint it. I think I got a pretty good pencil texture, though, so I'm up in the air about it. (In the past, I think everything I paint does come out looking a little better. But you never know! At least I've got something solid ready for the challenge deadline.)

If you ever find yourself traveling from Pelso Nor to the cities of the Kelor Lowlands and can spare yourself a longer trip, I highly recommend the Sand Road and the Windspur Mountains pass. Nothing beats the awe-inspiring sight of crystallized magickal energies thrusting up out of the dunes of the Great Agate Desert. They make such a contrast with the amethystine loci of power you may be familiar with from the Jeweled Plains, and they have an altogether different character from the vibrant centering crystals in the forests of the east.

The coloring came out great. That is quite the elaborate photo set-up!

Those lights and a prime lens help a lot at getting good colors and a sharp focus! I don't think I'll have time to try painting it, but I like the pencil look - so here's my final map:
