The map shows the night before the disaster and the day after. In the little left triangle ther is the diary of the mage who create the disaster, while the right triangle shows the map of the valley owned by the count that send the mage to do the "dirty job".

Thanks Misty and Eowyn, I tried to do the map less tragic. As someone said in the presentation post of the challenge, there are so many real disasters that a little bit of humor is necessary.
