Wow, the export differences between the original and the one here are huge. I don't use Adobe so I'm not able to give advice on what's going wrong unfortunately.
I have gotten the advice to participate in mapping challenges for more exposure. Makes sense. So this was supposed to be my entry for cataclysm which I made today. I see only now, after I've finished the map that my entry is... kinda late. Well, here it is anyways, for everyone to enjoy. Feedback is as always appreciated. https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...ad.php?t=47799
Cataclysm-01-01.jpg
" A tectonic rift has opened up splitting the largest city in the region in twain. The tributaries flowing from the southern mountains into the river valley now all end in that seemingly bottomless rift in the ground. All the meanwhile a volcano has violently erupted, burning all the people on the on the foothills alive. "
Edit: The colors are kind of messed up. Here's (the colors from) the original document for reference. If anyone could take a look at it and tell me what I'm doing wrong when exporting to jpg that'd be great.

I figured out the exporting issue. Turns out you have to export the JPG with RGB colors. If you export with CYMK colors it's all messed up. The more you know...
First of all: Great map.
Looks like you worked in Illustrator? Or another vector app. And yes, its exactcly how you decribed the export problem. Especially the greens get totally crazy messy. If you really need an CMYK file you would have to resave it through Photoshop.
If you really use Illustrator: such an expencive Programm from a huge software company should not make such troubles.
