Wip Oct/Nov 2020 Lite Challenge: little red riding hood on the road

Little red riding hood - on the road

I decided to go with a more 'child-sketchy' style since this is a children's story after all.
Inspired by Kyle Ferrin's art (Root board game)
Color will follow if time sufficient
In the meanwhile try to find out where our friend wolf at..

    A3 size 300ppi
    Hand drawn in Krita

I agree, it looks good so far. Color might add some punch to it, but even without color, I think you got yourself a contender here.

EDIT: Oh, and of course I found the big, bad wolf. I have a "nose" for these sort of things.

    A relative of yours GW?

Great start XploringMap! Welcome to the Challenge! The Big Bad is hiding, but not to hard to find.

This is great! The color palette and paths remind me of the map for the board game Root.

Took me a while to find the wolf (I guess my eyes are going ). I want to hear the story involving the stones and chasm as well now though! I think those escapades will be equally as exciting!

You are right, that is where I was inspired from as I wrote in my first post here in this thread.

When I make maps I always have in mind board games, how a player could interact with the image and have choices, so I wanted to make the forest more alive, not just a straight path.
