Awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Here is my entry (to add to some pretty stunning entries already submitted). I started a few days ago but believe there are still a few to go to finish my map. This map focuses on several cities/settlements along the outskirts of a continent. Who knows why they avoid the interior?

Thank you both!
Here is the next image. It is a black and white of the continent.

After this I will (or already have as is partially the case... I am slow with uploading WIPs) paint the image a browny-yellowish color to make it look faded. After that I will go over with colored pencils and color the regions in my more usual style. This is just me testing to see if this style works for me.
I also remembered this time to put the Latest WIP but I completely forgot when naming this thread the 'Lite Challenge' title/heading. If one of the admins could fix that for me (if it is necessary) I would be much obliged .

Thank you Bogie!
Here is my final draft. It is not exactly the best map I have drawn but it was a test of a new style. I have decided now that I do not like the brown shading/aging of the maps although, adding color to it afterwards, did help it a little bit. (although using a dip pen for the 'cool' title font was a good idea, using water color over it was not... Thus the black smears there)
I bring to you, the Outskirts.

To bad the ink wasn't waterproof. But this is how we learn and get better.

Little accidents with ink aside, this is still nice work. I like it a lot.

I really like it Arimel. I will soon try to do a map a color it with watercolors... so this is a inspiration to me.
