Great map! The cliff immediately grabs your attention, then you are drawn into all the buildings below.

One thing I would say is that the cliffs have so much detail, it makes the sea look like it is lacking detail. Even some detail around the shoreline perhaps and that again keeps the focus on the cliff and city area.

As a finishing touch, how about a couple of God rays breaking through the stormy clouds to highlight part of the city.

Depending on where the sun rises and sets, there could be some cheap real estate in the perminent shade of that rock arch lol.

A wise mouse once said, a bit of empty space can sometimes be good. If I add super detail to the ocean, it might detract from my main focus. But, I hear you. I'll think about it.


And regarding the shade, funny thing, something in that line popped up years ago when I first did the map. For that reason, I brought in the Light Seeker's guild. A part of their purpose is the lighting for the city. Though, it made me think that maybe I should add some lamp posts or what not.

Anyway, tx for checking in. It is always good to brainstorm about these kind of things.
