Watercolor map of Darkon, Ravenloft (region map)

My first region map. It is a "fan art" map based on the D&D setting of Ravenloft. One of the countries of the Core, less famous than Barovia with Strahd. Note this is for 3.5e version of Ravenloft.

I created this map for our home D&D game in Barovia, as we found official maps a bit outdated and somewhat confusing to use. Plus, it was just fun to create it in the style of "gothic watercolor", as I call it. I used a combination of black watercolor on paper and black ink with a calligraphy pen. As a bonus, I also made handwritten labels for the map, also in ink with a calligraphy pen. Apologies for Russian only labels, but it was a personal use map

It's a fun map.

I would say this though, the writing, or labels if you will of the map is very hard to read.
