Hey Guildies! After a couple of years I'm feeling some mapping mojo again, so I thought I'd start a WIP thread. This will be a map of California about 1000 years from now. Climate change and engineered viruses pretty much destroyed present-day civilization, along with magic beginning to seep back into the world. This is a hot, dry region with scattered city-states and tribes fighting over what scarce resources remain.
The canvas texture may just be a place-holder, but I kind of like it.
This may take a loooong time to complete, as I'm not into mapping as much as I used to be, but here's a start anyway.

Oh yeah. I dig that Widman set as well. And for a guy who said this might tak a long time, that's some pretty impressive progress already!
