    Help Coupe-Coeur, my first map ever!

    Hey everyone! I started my first map ever and I have trouble adding the last details. To be honnest, i just dont know how to arrange the titles or what to add. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

    First of all, congrats for the map, it is nice and clean.
    As a suggestion, you can put trees or fields outside the city walls. The labels are in a good position, I don't see anything bad there.

    A great looking map. I agree with Simkin. You can add trees outside the village/town wall. Perhaps an orchard or enclosed pasture for sheep or goats?

    Will agree with Simkin and Kai, this is a solid bit of work. As for your question...

    You might also consider what sort of events happen outside the walls. Are there fairs? An open farmer's market once every month? If someone important visits, is there a designated area for their retainers (escorts, guards, wagon masters, and so on) to set up a camp?

    Along with that, think about the story/adventure attached to the area. What kind of encounters will the characters experience as the enter or leave the city?

    All that being said, it is also perfectly fine to leave it just the way it currently is and have room for "sticky notes" to identify where some of my earlier suggestions or what ever you happen to fancy happen.
