*** June 2022 Challenge: Map Like an Animal ***

I'm the proud uncle of a very inquisitive black lab, and watching her explore things is always fun. So for this month's challenge, I thought it would be interesting to see maps done from the perspective of an animal. This could be anything from a backyard map of your dog's favorite smells, to a map of the rabbits' journey in Watership Down, to a map of a setting in the Redwall series, or a target map of a pigeon's favorite people to sh!t on, or anything else you can imagine.

Rules are simple as always:

1. Any map for this challenge cannot have been started before now.
2. Label your map thread like this: June 2022 Challenge: (your title here)
3. Preface any work-in-progress pictures you post with the WIP tag button - it's in the toolbar on the second row down, towards the right. Or you can just type out ### Latest WIP ### Doing this allows the picture scraper to see your work and let the voters see it at the end of the month.

The challenge will run until around this time on the evening of Thursday, June 30th. The winner will receive a slightly-used * Golden Compass.

Thank you, thank you! I will gladly accept this slightly-used Golden Compass by default. XD This was a fun map to create, and the image popped into my head fully formed so I'm really happy it translated so well to the final product. Also, it's been really nice having some time to come back to CG and catch up on all the amazing maps posted. And finally, a thank you to Bilbo for the inspiration.
