Default Erlschwerd - small aventurian village

Made a small village map for our foundry TDE group.

Base is made in Illustrator with selfmade brushes. Speeds up the process quite a lot. Coloring in Photoshop.

Judging by the number of houses, the area of crop fields should be at least 10 times larger.
The forest also seems to be too close to the village.
I also miss some paths and tracks in the forest.
However, I like the layout of the village itself.

Thanks for the feedback - and the help creating more village history.

Since the old mill in the east with the fields around it were abandonded, the Erlschwerdians rely mostly on their deer meat and wood exports, and get their vegetables, grain and bread from the neighbour villages.
The fields are potato fields of Onelegged Alrik, who brews a weird bornlandish alcoholic beverage with them

I think it looks very cohesive and it definitely made me want to continue learning Illustrator... Or maybe just look for similar brushes somewhere

I do think the very rough and digital-ly look of the border of the map is at odds with the more gentle painting job. But that's, you know, just my opinion, man.
