Thread: Map Required

    Post Map Required

    I need a map, It needs to be a single continent with LOTS of forests, a polar region and maybe a few islands. The only imperative thing is that it blends well and has one detail: a haunted forest. Just a different type of tree which I can label would be great.

    * [I am looking for a Greyscale map that looks similar to: http://www.cartographersguild.com/fe...rthaineMap.jpg

    Description of Map
    * Sketch: I will soon
    * A brief verbal description: A single continent with LOTS of forests, a polar region and maybe a few islands. The only imperative thing is that it blends well and has one detail: a haunted forest. Just a different type of tree which I can label would be great.
    * The scale of the map will be approximately 50 miles to the inch.

    Could you maybe provide a rough sketch? It helps to at least have a basic idea of what you are looking for.

    Please have a look at the 'read me' sticky at the top of this section, NDshacker which will give you the information that people need when considering whether to take on a mapping request.

    A continent 50 miles to the inch is a lot of inches !

    Have a look at our community world building project and see if that would fit. Your description sounds a lot like Ravells 'Beastlands'. Heres a thread

    check post #13 map. Not quite an island but it has lots of forests in it and some haunted areas.

    Oops sorry :p However many needed to make it look realistic... It looks alright, but it really must be an island.

    Well it was certainly inspired by something. Probably involving alcohol (I kid! I kid!).

    I went ahead and added the details to the first post.
