    Map The Sunken Cave

    The Sunken Cave by PlayStateWolf

The Sunken Cave is my first officially finished D&D/Pathfinder style map, and it is designed to be a grand entrance for a larger dungeon.

The entrance opens up to a large, round stone platform that upon inspection is a very tall, artificial pillar.

The ground is covered in waist deep water (human scale), with two columns of cave rock carved and flattened out from preexistent stalagmites. A series of old bridges fashioned out of simple rope and rotting wood connect all the columns together, leading to an ancient, magnificent structure at the other end of the cave. This grand entrance is being held up by a large, solid arch that stretches down to the body of water below.

A ladder (1) has been placed on the first rock column connecting the submerged ground with the raised platforms above. The second bridge has almost fallen apart (2) requiring effort to get across.

Reward the players with treasure, found in places 3 and 4, for their ability to get across and those determined to search the cave.

Finally, at the back wall of the magnificent structure is a path that leads deeper into the dungeon.
