    Map Rapperswil

    Hello !

Here's a little map I made on the iPad during some lost moments...

I just copied a map that came to me by chance on the net. I've made a few changes to the geography compared to the original, I don't even know why... Basically, it's an extract from an old map of a region in my country, near Zurich.

It was also a good opportunity to continue practising Procreate, an application that's full of resources but which I'm having trouble using some of the functions (like selection, for example...)

Anyway... not much, but a map nonetheless!

Great work! The historical map look is just spot on.
Is rapper close to rapier ?

If you told me this was the original historical map, I would have believed you. Great work!

"Rapier" as in the musical instrument or the sword ??? in any case I haven't seen a village called "rapier" in the area... Lots of villages whose names end in "kon", though... which, in French, makes the surroundings of the beautiful town of Rappers look particularly stupid...

Thanks for the kind words, though!

Thanks for the compliments! It's always a pleasure! But copying is pretty easy after all... it's always the creation that's more difficult, but also more rewarding!
