It's neat! The art for the points of interest is my favorite, but the symmetry of the diamond shape tickles my fancy pretty good. Well done Silvio!

    Same. What Adflor said :-)
I like that the layout symmetrical and not, at the same time...
Makes me want to know if there is some cultural or religious reason for the shape/layout ?

First of all, thanks Ian and Misjay, I'm happy that you both liked the map.
Speaking of the city, Ducassi was a military outpost for more than a century, placed in the north of the kingdom to repel the various invasions of the nomads from the desert. When peaceful times comes, the fort became a refuge for many people and it trasformed into a city, but the lifestyle mantain a deep military tradition. Now, that past is the pride of its citizens, who name themselfs "sons of disciplin and honor".
The diamond shape of the exterior walls of the city are a message for every army that try to attack Ducassi: "we are strong as a diamond!".
