World Map and Region Map for a digital Savage Worlds Adventure Edition TTRPG Campaign

Hello! After playing around a bit with Wonderdraft and trying a few rough ideas. I've realized the effort I need to put in to get the style of map I'd like is out of my budget of time so I'd like to try and get an estimate for what it may cost.

The size of the maps would be 4096x2048px and made to be used in Foundry VTT.

The first map is an area roughly covering the Caribbean Sea and where the majority of the setting takes place. This area is known as the Crescent Isles and has two Crescent moon shapes facing each other in an S shape with a large bay between them and an intense smattering of smaller islands broken off from them on their outside.

The second map would be a world map where the planet has roughly the radius and same climate patterns as 1700s Earth. There are roughly 4 referenced continents but can be more to match Earth.

The style would be nautical maps of the 1700s, so mostly grayscale/parchment colored, with some illustrative markings for rivers, mountains and cities. Labelling is not necessary at this time as I am still naming many of the regions and feel comfortable to use an application like Wonderdraft to add labelling later. I also have taken some rough stabs at it I will post here.

Main issues I struggle with are tectonics, formation of land in sensical manner, and consistent detailing. More information can be provided happily here or via private messaging. I am on the official discord and active on discord in general.

Payment can be handled via paypal, I'm happy to negotiate and potentially cut certain items if need be. I am anticipating about $300-$400 over several payments as that has been the rough place for other artwork I've commissioned but am happy to go higher or lower depending on further negotiations.

Sorry for not adding that! The most generous estimate is six months, more conservative is 3-4 months. It's the next game in the slot as we are midway through a 5E campaign that this will be replacing.

Hello! Your project sounds perfect for my skillset, I draw using traditional techniques and I can achieve the intended look from the
historical example.
I then proceed to scan in high resolution and add some post processing to make it perfect for VTT use and print (if needed at some point);
for the purpose I usually send multiple files for various resolutions that you would need.
