I got started by putting together a hide texture. It's a combination of several textures, some my own hand-made stuff, a couple from Shutterstock and a handful from Freepik.com.

Hey Kell, the hide texture together with your more stylized drawing looks super cool already!! Wonder if the mentioned guardian tree features in this iteration as well? Looking forward to see it coming together!
