I've played DnD 5e, Kids on Bikes, Mork Borg and Troika, and our party is planning to try Panic at the Dojo. I run Troika.

Played or run a lot of tabletop RPGs over the years. I currently prefer Pathfinder First Edition, or rather, my houserules for it.

As for games I don't like, I'm not getting into that, but I've found that quality of players/GM makes a massive difference.

People should play simple games if that's what they like, or more complex ones if that's what they prefer.

Just want to add something about a chat I had with a friend last week.

In the real world, you might not be able to find players for the game you want to play, or some might be easy to find. For example, my friend has been easily able to find people who want to play 5e; he runs two games of that. Last year, he could only find one person who is interested in playing Pathfinder Second Edition.

Online, you can probably find lots of people willing to play all kinds of things (well, maybe not something really obscure!). I don't know the names of such websites though. Perhaps someone knows?

The website roll20.com, which is a virtual table top that many use to play TTRPGs online has forums where people organize games.

    Thanks, Nick!

Looking for something this week, I found a book of old maps, mostly from playing games in the past. BUT, it also included the first ttRPG map I ever designed. That was fun to see!
