Thanks for joining the challenge waldronate! That actually makes a cool Guild bookmark.

I don't use the royal color scheme (purple + gold) much, but it's fun for abstract stuff. The generic altitude version would look more like this:

and the raw heightmap shading would look like this:

Those two aren't as much fun as the first one, but it's just playing with coloring at this point now that a heightmap is done.

The rough edged Font in the generic altitude green version is very interesting. Is it a special font or is it an effect applied to the font?

It's the result of running the erosion effect on a standard black and white stencil font. Stencil fonts have the nice property that they don't have any enclosures that will fill up and distort the readability.
