    1. It is excellent that you uploaded a large image of the map. This facilitates a viewer being able to bask in a map, and to take the details of it in, which really lies at the heart of being able to better appreciate a given map.

    2. That said, this map still suffers from pixelation (perhaps due to the file format that you saved it in). This is most obvious when viewing the text in the lower right hand corner of the map.

    3. You've chosen a very sedate color scheme, overall, one easy on the eyes.

    4. Your buildings are simple forms, which is fine, but simple forms do not tend to excite the eyes.

    5. This map has a lot of things in play, but even still, all things considered, it still feels fairly empty to my eyes. No singular item displayed on the map excites me.

    6. You make good use of white space on this map.

    7. Browsing your DeviantArt page and your Facebook page a bit, you seem to specialize in this form of cartography. This is not one of the better examples of your artwork in this form.

    Thanks

AD2: It has lower resolution than original file so it can be pixelised a bit. You can find original file on my deviantart. It's handdrawn so it will never be close to fully digital work.

AD 4 and 5: I don't care if it's exciting or not for others. This one is heavily inspired by medieval city plans you can found in various books, and shows a city, and is definitely not designed to attract attention.
Just out of curosity - what would you add here?

AD7: Hard to say. Every city has it's own character. This one is designed as it would have been built as typical city on magdeburg law. I know that drawing city plans in form very close to the historical realities can be boring and far from "how to draw fantasy maps" books and manuals but I draw for myself in the first place and for others in the second. Not all cities were super duper interesting places build over ancient elven stronghold. It's just a small, Polish Silesian, medieval, colonial, built from the scratch city like hundreds of others very simmilar ones in the region.
