Yes, just delete the whole Wilbur key. If you get the "Slayton Software" item above it in the hierarchy then it will reset both your Wilbur installation and your FT3 installation because Wilbur and FT3 are written by the same guy and he was too lazy to put the FT3 stuff elsewhere.

If you're looking to move the poles, then Wilbur and FT3 alone might not be the best tools for that. Have you looked at https://forum.profantasy.com/discussion/4709 to see if it's helpful? GDAL would certainly do the job, but I'd have to do some research to get the correct mystic incantation for gdalwarp and I don't think I'm quite up to that at the moment. I should probably write something in the spirit of ReprojectImage that lets you pick a pole position on an input image, but that would probably be much harder than I expect.

I don't have any idea about those apps at all.

What I did read was that you can change the latitude and longitude lines in FT3. So if I did that would that not be the same effect?

I truly have no idea how any of these apps work. But I was told that they are the best. So I got them.

What I need to do are those steps.

Move the poles on the earth such that europe is colder, Canada is warmer and as a consequence. the southern part of South America will get colder possible freezing over and closing the drake passage.

Now since the comet adds 20% water, it might flood out down there which would open it further north. I have no idea until I move the pole and add the water and see what turns blue.

THEN. and only after then can I focus on changing mountains, rivers, and elevations.

I was just hopeful that the poles and water would be so much faster than these bugs so far.

3 days and all I am doing is chatting here and with the Bot.

    LOL

So do you think my problem was installing new wilbur while old wilbur was there and I did not know?

Anyway I am going to nuke it and redownload off the site and try.

If I am reading all of that properly, it sounds like what you are really wanting to do is change the axial tilt. Even then, I am not sure that you would get all those specific results without moving the continents to some extent. I could very well be wrong about that, however.

It is a 10 step. But yes, step one is to change the orientation. Not the tilt. 23.5% remains the same tilt. But the globe or as you said the continents from a map perspective.

From space and Newtonian physics, no. The procession is altered by a comet impact that takes a few thousand years to stabilize. When it does, the Earth is tilted 10 degrees 90E. Thus making the top of the 22.5% rotation just above Siberia.

Same tilt, same axis, but yes it is as IF the continents "moved"

So as I look at and try to figure out these different tools, it seems the best way is to just orient the BMP grayscale map 10 degrees in import that directly as per the link discussion above from about 10 years ago.

Looks like I am late to that party.

    LOL

Steps 2-10 are more straight forward.

    1, tilt
    2, flood
    3. change some elevations to be better than the random flood results

Three will be the tedious one. But I think FT3 is supposed to do that.

    4, place my nations
    5, place my cities
    6, make detailed city maps
7, make special maps of key places
    8, make more detailed maps
    9-10 Building and dungeon maps

MAPS it seems is the key word here....
