First Commission

Hello Cartographers,

This is my first commission so you'll have to bear with me if I make any mistakes. I came here in hopes that a wonderful and talented cartographer would make a map for my fictional world that I am currently working on for fun in my spare time! I have attempted to make my own map for this world and its not too shabby but its not quite what I want in terms of style or detail (bcs I made it in mc paint). Depending on how well this goes I may ask for further maps for towns and such.

I am happy to pay for someone's work but I am a uni student so it'll probably have a hard cap of £100, anything between 0 and 100 is much appreciated. I'm happy to do this through PayPal or if there is another way you would like to do this then let me know.

I have attached the map I made myself below, I would love it if it was made into a tea stained style with shading and a little colouring to distinguish between land types possibly. Making the land marks more dimensional and neater would be much appreciated to. And lastly I would love if the placenames were more stylised and fit into the map itself more rather than slapping them on top as I have done. The map I attached below doesn't have the world name (Argenta) or a stylised compass so it would be amazing if those could be added somewhere as well. Unfortunately, the file of the map is too large to attach so I attached several zoomed in screenshots so the placenames are hopefully readable and one screenshot of the whole thing so you can see how it all pieces together. If any of it is undecipherable feel free to hit my line and ask!

The map itself won't be used for commercial purposes, its just for fun. I have no time requirements I would much rather you take your time on the commission than rush it.

Hi there! I'd be interested in helping you out. I have to be honest, £100 is below my normal rates, so I might need to keep the map relatively low detail in order to not have my pay per hour drop too low beyond minimum wage. That being said, I'm sure I can put together something that would look nice and aged! I'm also based in the UK, so there will be no need to for any international money transfer hassle.
