Jan/Feb 2025 Challenge: Dungeon Redo: Halls of Symmetry

This is a map I made when I first started playing D&D back in the early 80's.
It also was back in the days before I ever owned a computer. So it is a very
rough hand drawn map on graph paper.
The basic Idea was that the majority of dungeon maps are asymmetrical, but some
are symmetrical for a number of reasons. When the layout is symmetrical the players
quickly figure that out and can often guess what is coming next. In this dungeon, however,
there are a few key points that are not symmetric so the players better be paying attention
or they will make mistakes.

This is the original hand drawn dungeon map: I should have the updated version ready to
post here tomorrow so you can see the progress I'm making.

Here is my first pass with the new version. Just the basic floorplan and walls. I still need to add shadows, doors, mapping elements etc.
will also be trying some different floor and wall textures, especially on the cave and water. The final map will be rendered at a higher resolution also.
