Nice set.
That is some densely pack mountains over there
Hi Folks,
Today I'm sharing two maps done tor two installments of author Stacey McEwan's series "The Glacian Trilogy".
Stacey wanted a map of the whole kingdom for the first book and then a zoomed in version of the northern area. The mountain chain on the first map was fun to draw and playing with that part zoomed in was much more fun. A map consisting of mainly mountains can feel tricky at first but I'm right at home with those

Hope you like them.

lovely! As said, the work on the mountains is impressive. The second map is very dense, but still legible, a subtle balance, well done!
I love that second map particularly, but your poor wrists!!
It looks great and will work well in a novel because it's so clear and legible, and that isn't always easy to pull off with the amount of detail included.

Yup
Merci Joël, glad you think so
Yeah, I love it too. My wrists ? Nah, they're fine, they're used to it now ... my undead ones at least Yeah I had to play a bit with contrast and, to be honest, the white glaciers are not only there for show
Mon ami, I wholeheartedly agree, mountains over forests any day, they're less work Merci beaucoup Julien !
Lovely work! As others have said, that is a reasonably high mountain density, but you make it work And definitely, mountains are so much nicer to do than forests!
Good heavens man, beautiful as always! While others have (very rightly) pointed out how great the mountains look, I must add that the compass rose is a perfect fit as well.
